For me personally I don't mind politics in games/films/tv-series. But I think it would help if it was a little bit more subtle at times. Although, I guess 'subtle' is open to interpretation.
"Keep politics out of my game." "Unless it's *my* politics. More of that, please. That doesn't even count as politics." (?)

It's impossible to create without some degree of politics seeping in, because politics is all about worldview, and we create through the lens of our worldview, which is a product of our subjective experiences. Sometimes it's unintentional, but all art is politics, to a degree.
