Not to defend him, but do we know for certain that the grassroots want that second vote? I know that’s not the case for many people down the west country small towns where my family lives. I have a feeling he’s banking on those people.
Going from Cambridge to North Devon before Brexit was honestly such a shock. Being in the city made me think it was in the bag, but it was honestly such a massively different story down there and a lot of hate towards the city.

Ohhh I see! Fair point. I honestly used to adore Corbyn. He represented hope for me. I still like him, for the most part, but felt so let down about his attitude towards Brexit.
