Pet peeve: when employees see their colleagues (or maybe even customers) being treated like shit -- maybe they're even directly tipped off -- but choose to pretend they didn't hear/see anything because things for them are pretty cushy.
Petter peeve: when an employer would rather drag you through the dirt for speaking up for your colleagues than risk their good (?) name acknowledging and addressing the issue.
