People in different departments and at different studio locations seem to have different experiences, some of that is due to labour laws in those locations, so I have to correct myself in counting all R* studios as the same - they are not. Some places have fair conditions.
This is important. Even department doesn’t narrow it down enough; it all depends on your specific manager. In one department, you might have one manager who rewards zero overtime and another who punished those who don’t do it, making it essentially mandatory for those people.
