This morning I have written 1000 words, organised roof repairs, read half a novel and made a jar of lime pickle. (For the first time).

Well it's also true that it took me 17 years to read T Mann's Joseph and His Brothers.
Does it count if I had to read Bible passages when I was small and still haven't read the whole thing? Because that's been going on like 20 years now

I haven't read any of it. Had to teach Genesis to students ten years ago. It was all news to me, pretty much.

It kicks off in Leviticus when people start chopping hands off. Don't let me spoil the plot twist where the protag comes back to life! It all gets a little new age towards the end though
