I’m getting some insane Witcher vibes from Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey. It’s definitely scratching an itch. Love it! Safe to say this is the game I’ve been waiting for.

I'm glad you like it. It's a good RPG. It's a terrible Assassins Creed game though and (as a long time fan) that saddens me.
Expectations, I guess! This was my first AC game, but it’s exactly the kind of game I love playing.

The thing is, I was expecting it to be like this. I just wish they made an active effort to combine the best from both worlds. Right now it feels like it's a historic RPG series with the AC title slapped on top of it for the sake of marketing, which feels VERY disingenuous to me.
