I find a quiet place, review all the story beats I have to hit, and grind out a draft. I then remind myself that I'm not alone, and that others on the team will help make it better during table reads. It's sometimes intimidating but worth every minute of embarrassment.

Must take a hell of a lot of trust to let your colleagues see a WIP. I'd find myself constantly trying to apologise for it and explain.

Lots of mutual trust and patience. Also, a shared goal of making something as good as it can be. There's an adjustment period but I prefer the group workshopping over writing alone.

Agreed. The ideas a group can come up with together are always so much better than any one person in isolation.
