Thank you. TBF, the job I have now (or coming up, at least) is way more what I want to do and I'd choose it over that role any day. It's just an open wound that still hurts like crazy

Wounds will continue to hurt until they close, and still throb as they heal. As long as you keep up the healing process, the pain will subside and allow you to be who you want to be despite the circumstances. I'm super happy you found a position that you love! Keep upthegoodwork!

Thank you. Unfortunately, I'm one of those people who historically just pretends wounds aren't there until they literally punch me in the face, so I don't do as much healing as I should
