I wish politicians and other positions of power got paid minimum wage unless you were a doctor or a scientist because then the only people who would go for the job would be people who actually want to make change and make a difference or would be doctors/scientists
Is being a doctor or a scientist a guarantee that they’ll necessarily do a better job?

Replace doctor/scientist with “relevant degree/job experience”. So health minister should be a doctor, defence should be ex military etc...
