A hard thought indeed but an interesting question too. Can they really fend for themselves? Up to which point do they depend on us humans to feed them? And what would such a situation mean for other wild species?
The Talos Principle is gonna break me, I swear it. Can't stand the thought of either my dog or my cat being left to fend for themselves.

Imagine if all domestic cats were released and had to find their own found. It would lead to a mass birds, small mammals and reptiles slaughter. And that's also quite a terrifying thought... Anyway, TTP is definitely a great game and you should keep playing till the end.
