I was once promised a promotion if I worked the role on top of my own for a bit. Six months in, they made a U-turn -- said they no longer needed the role -- so I stopped. Then a job ad went up...FOR THAT ROLE. I didn't get it. Not senior enough, apparently. #ShareYourRejection

That's messed up. Unfortunately sounds similar to some of the stories coming from former employees of other companies. I'm glad you found a better place to work at!
