I am getting so tired of the endless dishonestly and disingenous "facts" the progressives seem to think is the height of intellectual debate. Honestly, I'd love to know the last honest discussion these people have had. Even with each other.

HA! Sorry, this weekend/week has managed to wear out my reserves with this nonsense. I am so sick of these people hurting other people, especially as they claim to believe in what I do. Makes me ill.
Yup. I was told I was as bad as a neo-nazi on Sunday because I suggested it might be a bad idea to use offensive violence against white supremacists. Crazy how many people seemed to keen (at least on the internet) to go full on vigilante.

It's so disheartening. They seem utterly unaware that protesting and free speech/expression and free association is how we have achieved the HUGE leaps forward socially that we have. They want to give all that up in order to score some political points.

It's counterproductive anyway. It'll just land them in prison where they can't do anything to help the cause they apparently care so much for -- while also damaging its reputation.

I was also accused of sea lioning and chased (in all caps) out of a thread about employers using praise to avoid properly compensating women in the workplace because I shared an experience where it didn't happen because of gender and dared broaden the convo to additional causes.

Best thing is, I wasn't even disagreeing. I just thought 'this happens for lots of reasons and we should talk about more of them while we're at it'. Was then told there are 'unspoken rules'. CBA to bother indulging at that point.
