No, for the same reason that I wouldn't blame a liquor store for turning someone into an alcoholic.

Do you think it could be argued that they are knowingly enabling a bad habit, creating something that is inherently addictive (and profits from being so)?

I don’t think so because it’s an activity that can be used for fun without major damage. Kind of like it’s not unethical to own a water park even if it means it’s likely someone will eventually drown. More unethical to own a cigarette company since those aren’t safe regardless
-
I think it could be argued that a gambling site is more ‘dangerous’ than a water park, though; gambling is intentionally addictive, and in the long run the house almost always wins. A water park does not have the same known (and widely acknowledged) addictive quality

No it's not unethical. The owner of the gambling business is ethically bound to provide games that aren't complete scams, but in terms of the "life ruining potential" we might as well cancel McDonalds and alcohol because those have a way higher chance of life ruining potential.

This doesn’t entirely refute your argument, but I think fast food is less problematic purely because food itself is a human necessity, and there will always be less healthy options out there. It’s there for (kind of) nourishment/energy.

No, you shouldn't be held accountable for others addictions; just because you're the one providing a service to people; which many people use and don't become addicted. Are fast food paces and off licence owners responsible for making people obese / alcoholics? Decent debate, +1
-
@Brbae_ was just arguing that those industries are actually more unethical (though we didn't establish that they're so unethical as to be classed as such), with many food scientists intentionally making junk food addictive.
