Now theyve decided I have 8/9 BPD traits but not the diagnosis. How does that even work?

Unfortunately, a lot of professionals are quite condescending. They'll fix you with a look and say 'Oh, and what qualifications do you have?' But then I was right, so... *shrug*

They said to me “it’s not called Borderline Personality Disorder anymore, we call it Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder”. Yes I know that’s another name for it, but to disregard the original name?

Lol it's funny because just because its changed names doesn't mean you don't have it, and yet it sounds like they're using that as an argument not to treat you. Huh.
