When you dig into the details, you see that the increase in uninsured rate is concentrated among minority and low-income Americans.pic.twitter.com/1YHbGkOCh8

Another detail is how much monthly rates went up, (in many cases over 100% higher) making insurance unaffordable for those who had it. People opted out because it was cheaper.

And why do you think that is honey? because they can't afford it and Trump is making it hard to get. CLUELESS

We couldn't afford ACA, at least we aren't being fined for not having it now.

The % change in +$90k is surprising...looks like roughly 30% increase in uninsured rates

Higher income unsubsidized enrollees are sensitive to price changes; not real surprising that more would be uninsured as rates increase. Alternatively, they are more likely to seek group coverage. The gap will expand (fewer low income uninsured) in 2018 due to Trump's CSR action.

Obama lied and my healthcare died. Instead of saving $2,500 per year as Obama promised, my healthcare costs went up over $10,000 (premiums, co-pays & deductibles). PERIOD.

Unless they live in a GOP controlled state that refuses to expand Medicaid, these low income people are the people who can most easily get access to insurance thanks to ACA. Though they are probably more likely to be unaware than other groups.
