        Sarah, are you writing about ERs being in network but doctors not? Got $7100 bill for ER doctor (out of network even tho ER in network)

        Why should it matter? Just because a doctor is in-network, doesn't mean s/he charges less. Insurance just conceals actual service cost

        Even if your out of pocket is less, the cost is still paid by somebody else. We are trying reduce COST, not just ur out of pocket
