Easy to solve and maybe an acceptable compromise: lower the eligibility for Medicare to 50 or 55. Priv HC insurance for the healthier.

Yes that, as well as allowing InsCo's to sell "Skinny" Plans that are cheap but don't cover anything. The HOP Plan is all smoke and mirrors

No, premiums get less expensive with lots of competition for our business. Premiums also get cheaper for non-smokers and non-obese folks.
