The Senate could vote on skinny repeal as soon as this afternoon. We still haven’t seen a copy of the bill or a CBO score.

according to Senate rules, a CBO score must be posted 28 hours before a vote, or there's a point of order with 60 vote threshold

Wait, that means the vote is no sooner than Friday afternoon, even if they post the CBO score right now?

Who could ethically vote on a bill they had not actually seen - no matter what it was????

See, you're using that word "ethics" again; there is no place for that kind of thinking in today's Republican party.

That was on a Dem guess of what was in skinny repeal based on media reports, not the actual bill.

Skinny repeal is not "repeal", it is sabotage. Keep expenses but remove incentives and financing. That will make any progeam fail.

@TopherSpiro says 60 votes needed on point of order to vote less than 28 hours after CBO score. Not today.

They also needed 60 votes for a Supreme Court nominee, that didn't stop them.

Isn't that impossible? Don't they need a CBO score to verify it meets the requirements of reconciliation (and 50 vote threshold)?

When it becomes all about winning. If it was about us, they would allow a CBO score and discourse.
