        @voxdotcom I've also been involved professionally w/docs and their websites and EHR providers. Their tech is horribly outdated.

        no, some of it is HIPPA related security concerns, but most is just clunky software design.

        so why can't they do simple data import for new patient info, for ex? Seems that would be a benefit to insur.

        Doctors offices have been doing this for 20-30 yrs, and now the work to over come the obstructions is so overwhelming

        that is has broken through the office walls and is now splashing on the patients. Patients can demand change from the insurers.

        it is also frustrating when you have a small infant who needs medical care, but no one cares outside of the 10 minutes of appt.
