(This is actually a real concern for open enrollment, right? Like is this a risk that enrollment counselors need to warn about?)

@sarahkliff We think consumers shouldn't worry. Enrollers should focus on enrolling.

@sarahkliff Good - educate the public and turn up the pressure for a legislative fix for this insane drafting error drama.

@sarahkliff No, not a concern for open enrollment. It's been reported this would have no impact. Quotes T. Jost here: http://bit.ly/1zAZMCT

@thelucygoose @sarahkliff isn't the concern that the payments would stop, and not that they would demand payback of already paid subs?

.@sarahkliff makes a great point here: people signing up for exchange need to know they could lose the subsidyhttps://twitter.com/sarahkliff/status/530806748509401088 …

@sarahkliff With the mandate still in place you might have to pay full cost of the unsubsidized premium; but can't afford to pay it.

@DaleF3 @sarahkliff why wouldn't you just terminate coverage and accept the penalty in this case

@sarahkliff Will you have to pay the full premium for your health insurance without the subsidies, after you sign up because of subsidies?

@sarahkliff I think so. If they pay in through a state exchange, and they aren't held up in court. Where does there $ paid in go?
