So, I'm confused by reports that TN isn't expanding Medicaid. What they outline here is the AR model, right? http://bit.ly/14vRPj4

@sarahkliff And premium support is part of Medicaid, right? So even that aspect is still technically "Medicaid expansion."

@kyledcheney Thanks! That AP story had me thinking I was crazy. But the part about leveraging available fed. funds seems to spell it out.

@sarahkliff Sounds like he said no to traditional medicaid expansion but is asking HHS if TN can do Ark "private option," right?

@ArkDavey That's what I thought, which is why the AP take makes no sense to me: http://timesdaily.com/stories/Tennessee-governor-says-no-to-Medicaid-expansion,204322 …

@sarahkliff TN Health Care Campaign put out press release similar to AP--but based on Haslam quotes I've seen, they must be missing nuance?

@sarahkliff Agree! TN is expansion state in our count, just like AR. Updated map forthcoming.

@sarahkliff @cpearsonavalere would love to read your thoughts on CA's Duals Demo MOU w/ CMS released today. Much smaller than CA had hoped.

Shifting gears to focus on CA duals demo MOU, as requested by @yosoyeagleeye. CA continues national trend of slower rollout & fewer benes.

@CPearsonAvalere thank you! I must have interpreted incorrectly, thought it had more benes than previously proposed.

@sarahkliff You're right on -- Haslam wants to do what Arkansas is doing. That's taking expansion dollars and buying pvt coverage.
