Oh no. I followed him on here for over 4 years. Seemed like a genuine, good one 
RIP Bassem Masri. He was known as a tough activist and fighter for justice in St Louis. But in person, he was kind and compassionate, funny and sweet. He was always trying to help others.
I am heartbroken. I can't believe he is gone. RIP.

He had a kind soul. When my family fell on hard financial times, he would check on us, see if we were OK, even though he was busy dealing with his own struggles. He was just good like that.

I remember watching him livestream during Ferguson, he was the best "amateur" source on the ground I could find (then someone stole his phone right out of his hand!) -
