The House is a huge garbage fire. They'd be more likely to pass a bill to replace the internet with JesusNet, ban all non-Christians from using it, and have it owned by the Trump Organization than defend net neutrality.
-
it's offensive to literal garbage fires to be compared to the House like that

Never come to a vote. Ryan doesn’t want to have any vote that’s at all hard on record

I hope it passes but wouldn't be surprised if senators that know they'll be out next term throw all their votes to the corporations

It won't even be taken up in the house. That's basically already known. Only question is if telecoms will start passing rate hikes on June 11 or hold off until after midterms because they know it'll be bad for the politicians they pay for.

The bill needs 22 Republicans to vote in favor of it. PLUS all the Democrats. I mean, stranger things have happened in US politics, but I'm not sure it'll happen here.
