Once again, women bear the not insignificant burden of the emotional labor and the men dismiss it, even though they are not willing to take it on themselves.
I have had several friends who were not on facebook, but made their wives (who I do not know) friend me so they could know what was going on in my life. I didn't realize it was so widespread.
