He's not guilty, but he will be found guilty easily because the case is flimsy. So we should give him a pardon so he can accept it and admit guilt.

Don't pardons normally come after the conviction?

Not always -- E.g. Ford pardoned Nixon for any/all crimes that may have occurred while he was President before the Watergate legal cases were resolved.

And that was totally controversial at the time. Plus, Nixon was a former President and that was part of Ford's justification. Flynn and Manafort are just lackeys. It would be difficult to justify - not that Trump or Repubs care.
