This Verge story has a lot of glaring errors about the Congressional district I grew up in, but please, everybody give a bunch of unearned applause to a guy who tweets an ActBlue link or whatever.https://www.theverge.com/2018/3/8/17092684/great-slate-fundraising-congressional-campaign …

You know what, I reacted a bit harshly and I apologize. But I wouldn't say that the D candidates from AR-2 have been unilaterally affluent candidates from affluent neighborhoods. They've usually been statehouse/city politicians from within the district.

I think it's a bad frame for a district that certainly suffers a bit from the current intra-Dem battles going on, but it's unfair to say that this is a district fighting between "populist" and "corporate" Dems.

I was told "they come from one or two zipcodes out of 91" which I short-handed to "most affluent neighborhoods," which I guess given the overall demographics of Little Rock and Arkansas, is still unlikely to be all that affluent. I see what you mean.

that's a notion i've really resented around pinboard's characterization of the race, and i kind of wonder how even non-DCCC stakeholders feel about this kind of parachutage. (in this case, it also happens to be literally untrue.)
