“In a statement, Mr. Baquet said the company had completed its inquiry and found that Mr. Thrush had ‘behaved in ways that we do not condone.’” This doesn’t make any sense. By keeping him, aren’t they condoning it (at least to some degree)? Bad writing/editing at the NYT...

I think he should go, but the idea that the paper gets the benefit of claiming to care about harassment in its ranks while keeping him is so factually false that it’s an insult to our intelligence to claim that they don’t condone it.

The whole thing is Bad! It makes absolutely no sense to move him from White House reporting, the problem wasn't that he was reporting on the White House
