You know what the worst part is? I bet a bunch of blue states will make a concerted effort to fix voting machine security before midterms.

Sadly, w/in the election admin world it's much less red/blue and more "state's rights!!" They're weird little fiefdoms, even @ county level.

E.g., only just recently has CA moved to centralize election administration, and often the counties rebel. Many dying to try online voting.

this was all a long time coming and the richer states were already probably going to do it first. but now the politics is gross and weird
