I think it's clear that it's ingroup bias, even liberal whites look at neo nazis and can see a human being trapped in a poisonous ideology

There's a line I draw. On one side is people being harmed. On the other is people being helped.

But bear with me. I think this one is at least important.

So, you can be actively harming people. You can be passively allowing harm. You can support harmful people. You can ignore harm.

But is there a meaningful distinction? People are still being harmed.

The other side of the line is similar, but actively resisting harm, and passively or actively helping people.
