I ended up on one of those lists described as nothing other than "journalist" lmao. It was supposed to be a tech/law/policy list

The hard thing about all this is that the best way to convince someone to invite you is to have a video of you speaking somewhere else

Respectfully disagree, esp for new and younger speakers. I've used local lists like http://wespeaktoo.org to fill slots at
