Healthcare for women: because literally every reproductive choice can make us sick
-
had same experience w copper IUD and then ended up with mirena (hormone IUD) and worked wonders for me.
-
so dependent on individual and so little help out there in deciding.
-
my experience getting two different IUDs, three different specialists, makes me think no one knows what they're doing

in a very similar place. had one removed in january after it made me sick, thinking about whether I should try another kind now
-
which one? I have Skyla now, which is not perfect but I'm not sick the way I was on Mirena
-
I had a Mirena and had to get it taken out after 6 months. Almost switched to copper and now I'm thinking about it again...
-
could be worth a try. The fuck kind of world we live in
-

Teeeeeechnically it's possible to remove an IUD on your own (assuming the string is still there). Not that I recommend it.
