this came to me after I got home and thought through the implications of what I saw todayhttps://twitter.com/sarahjeong/status/735250545422663680 …

like, what are they even going to do. "...yep, that's 15 million lines of code, alright."
-
my theory is that no one thought the jury actually wanted to look at source codehttps://twitter.com/ncantelmo/status/735301798496505861 …
-
keep in mind that they have tons of demonstratives (diagrams of the android stack / the APIs, etc) to look at

i just did the math: that's about 250,000 pages, or 500 reams per juror. 2500 lbs / 1134 kg. I agree, quicker to print it.
-
fortunately, only need one copy for the jury room. so what's that, just 250 lb?
@hoopycat -
no, no... it's 2500 lbs per copy. Recommend adding "Lift with your knees, not with your back" to juror instructions.

Did someone not foresee this or was it planned by one party from the start? Crazy to expect jury to deal w/that much code.

Assuming printing double-sided at manuscript size, that’d weigh 1.5 tons and fill a standard pallet stacked eight feet high.
