none of my twitter dot com mutes appear to work on tweetdeck, and vice versa, so that's good

I'm like... not entirely sure Twitter wants me on here?
-
@sarahjeong Really? Mutes from Twitter 1st party should carry over to 3rd party apps using the API (not reverse, though) -
@yuusharo that's what I thought, but it doesn't seem to. -
@sarahjeong Wow, that sucks… must either be a bug or a severe oversight. I know Tweetbot on iOS respects mutes, but that doesn't help you
-
@yuusharo I really don't know what's going on :(

@sarahjeong tweet deck is client side mute. Had mute before it was officially implemented by Twitter. They don't ever fix that client. -
@randileeharper it's weird that the regular twitter mute doesn't translate here though. -
@randileeharper THAT'S what gets me. didn't it used to? -
@sarahjeong nope. Tweetdeck was purchased by Twitter and it's using tons of old tech. They don't properly maintain it. It's not 1st tier. -
@randileeharper@sarahjeong it makes no sense that Twitter mute wouldn’t be server side and just work in *any* client -
@0xabad1dea@randileeharper@sarahjeong Yeah. It's a shame that TweetDeck is so neglected. I like it. Makes it easier to parse my stream. -
@markemer@0xabad1dea@randileeharper especially since web Twitter is awful and broken rn
