People are quick to attack defense-friendly reporting for bias, but uncritical repetition of prosecutors' press releases is pretty passé.

In a way it has to be that the press often uncritically repeats the prosecution story. But it's a built-in inequality to consider.

@wgfreespeech and that's a weak part of the prosecution's case because even if it's inconsistent with statements, it doesn't point to murder
