I don't know, it just breaks my heart to think about how long advocates have been shouting about these issues from the rooftops.

@sarahjeong awful, but nature of social change (esp. against entrenched interests), no? Never as quick as advocates/revolutionaries want. -
@sarahjeong one can hope that the increased velocity of social communication (+video) will help, but of course that cuts both ways -
