I go out places, and I'll be fuzzy on who/what/when/where even in the moment.

1) If you're going to doubt a victim, you need more than just that and "there were other discrepancies."

2) If this was going to be a problem for a published piece, how did it not come up in fact check?

3) Note that contacting the alleged rapists has nothing to do with this! Fuck "Slate is vindicated."

They could have contacted *other women who say they've been raped* and they'd get similar concerns-- like WaPo did.

Wow, this string didn't age well. Not to beat up on you, but imagine from time to time, you admit when you got one wrong, it would increase perception that you are in fact humble. As any good journalist, they issue retractions on errors. Are you willing to do this for this issue?
