I find it deeply disturbing that no one interrogates how the economics of Silicon Valley have led to the deprioritization of anti-harassment

I believe that there is a harassment problem and that women deserve to feel safe and not shouted down

But the cries to "fix" harassment go only two ways: 1) citizens demanding law enforcement intervention 2) consumers demanding satisfaction

there is always someone at the end of the line when you send your abuse report, just like there's someone getting your angry call to Comcast

who is that person? how many of them are there? how are they paid? what kind of management priorities are being handed to them?

when you champion women, are you championing them as the consuming class that DESERVES not to have to see crappy tweets?

I believe there are fixes and solutions and sustainable ways to make healthier communication channels. But no magical ones.
