@sarahjeong I think this is the problem, again, w/ AAPI media (AAM, Hyphen, etc.) that advances imp ideas but doesn't move into mainstream.

@sarahjeong mine too, but I also think it's not great to call for Asians to be included in diversity conversations WITHOUT making that point -
@nicolecallahan it's not great but there's a serious resistance to talking about white supremacy anywhere, not unique to stories about API -
@sarahjeong I am starting to think AAPI are in unique position to talk about white supremacy bc we DO so often benefit from anti-Blackness -
@sarahjeong although I guess talking about white supremacy has never exactly won me friends and admirers, even though I'm Asian
