and there's of course a million other things, besides the obsession with female sexuality and the details of the target's intimate life—

—like the demand "not to feed the trolls" or the policing of "the truth" (see e.g. what KS had to say about the evidence of who doxed her)—

—or how any hint of anger immediately delegitimizes the target.

But in any case. You start to see patterns. When people are bad, they are predictably bad, across many industries and subcultures.

What we can learn from these incidents is how and why being attacked can be scary. We can learn compassion, empathy, solidarity.

And we can also learn how to sniff out misogynistic shitbags and see them for what they are.
