@vogon but I believe that the prevalence of security fuck-ups in the bitcoin universe is exacerbated how blockchain tech works

@sarahjeong which is to say that I want traditional currency that can be transferred without letting payment processors skim off the top
@vogon I also think the question of *who* controls the money supply is nontrivial, we take the Fed for granted but it's a young institution

@sarahjeong yeah definitely, and I don't claim to be a monetary expert but bitcoin designing out controls on the money supply is arrogant -
