@vogon idk security fuck-ups are pretty routine and certainly many of them are the result of gross negligence... -
@vogon but I believe that the prevalence of security fuck-ups in the bitcoin universe is exacerbated how blockchain tech works -
@vogon so it's not even like bitcoin people are bad at security, they're just fighting the basic architecture of an irreversible blockchain -

@sarahjeong yeah it's such a waste of resources on trying to make something good that's doomed to irrelevance by design flaws -
@sarahjeong the biggest tragedy imo is all of the hw investment in trying to eke out higher returns on a network with no stable equilibrium -
