@sarahjeong I asked a team member in an earlier version of this discussion; will share an answer if I get 1. Eager to compare w/ @followbias
@dearsarah Yeah, I’d like to know!
@sarahjeong Using search earlier & now, with "analytics" & female or male (& man/woman), most shared (odd sample) are > 70% male.
@noahmccormack I've speculated as much but I want more data points
@sarahjeong @noahmccormack I award you ... 100 data points.
@sarahjeong mine are 72% female but i work for a queer women's website so
@sarahjeong I wonder if Twitter thinks I'm a boy or a girl
@sarahjeong Wow, it says I'm 79% male. Hilarious since I've only been following women for like the last year or so.
@sarahjeong I'm actually curious if, say, famous beauty/fashion bloggers do, or if male creepfollowers add up.
@sarahjeong idea for a horror story--world becomes 70% men and no one knows why
@sarahjeong @natematias might have records from followbias
@sarahjeong @natematias (just saw @dearsarah's tweet)
@sarahjeong Though women outnumber men on twitter, everyone seems to have > 70 % male followers. Perhaps they count brands & bots as men.
