@sarahjeong You don’t need cell service to use GPS. You can download the maps from wifi when you’re connected. -

@sarahjeong Trust me, I’ve been there. I learned that trick in Prague in a situation similar to this. Hacker friends are amazing.

@sarahjeong Skipping from coffeeshop wifi to coffeeshop wifi may work in some areas. -
@sarahjeong Buying a local SIM *may* also be an option, if phone is GSM, unlocked, and works with local 3g freqs, but must check all that.
