Then there was part of the exhibit where they “reconstructed” a wig using hair ornaments that were excavated (wig was long gone, duh)

THEY USED A WIG WITH LIGHT BROWN STRAIGHT HAIR. I CALL BULLSHIT, MET.

they had a photo next to it of the sculpture / model they based the “reconstruction” off of. granted, it was not in great shape.

but that hair looked very black and very curly to me. almost like… natural black hair? for fuck’s sake, Met. for fuck’s sake.
