OK GUYS I have the ultimate Purge problem!
A contract to commit a crime is not enforceable. But is a contract to commit a crime during The Purge enforceable?

No NO I just came up with a better Purge problem. Is money-laundering under 18 USC 1956 illegal if it is connection with Purge crimes

@sarahjeong yes because it's not for "crime." but you can't get specific performance bc the contract is unenforceable *during* the purge. -
@bergmayer although we don’t know whether civil liability is suspended during the purge! -
@sarahjeong hmm is just "crime" allowed or are there no "laws"? Immaterial though if no courts/cops -
@bergmayer not clear whether courts are still operational, though “emergency services” like police are not. Movie only says “crimes”
