@sarahjeong important question: are Senate rules of procedure suspended too? If so can the majority use cloture to pass non-budgetary bills? -
@leighblue I’m not sure! Where does the authority for Senate rules even spring from? This is quite the puzzle. -
@sarahjeong I see a lot of salary payments and stock transactions executed in that 12 hour period to avoid income and capital gains taxes
