I’m kind of into the idea of quantitatively easing directly to African-American households, *but*
I think it’s interesting that Yglesias conflates “reparations” with closing the white/black wealth gap.

EVEN THOUGH at the end he says that the gap would reemerge because of disparities in education (and don’t forget network effects!)

And he also notes that the amount to close the wealth gap is a tiny fraction of “what was stolen.”
