(FWIW, having followed Tea Party online for some time, I still find far more in common than different between Tea Party & Occupy members.)

@sarahjeong I see in the base of both, a deep distrust & feeling of powerlessness vs institutions, one for government & one for business.
@anildash Tea Party doesn’t necessarily distrust govt. It distrusts a certain admin. It frequently resorts to fascist rhetoric & imagery.

@sarahjeong and really, the difference between saying "gov is corrupt" & "business is corrupt" in a world of regulatory capture is slim. -
@anildash I don’t think Occupy ever exempted gov’t from its critique. -
