(FWIW, having followed Tea Party online for some time, I still find far more in common than different between Tea Party & Occupy members.)

@anildash I see a lot of overlap in beliefs between Occupy-associated anarchists and libertarians, despite bad blood between them...

@sarahjeong I see in the base of both, a deep distrust & feeling of powerlessness vs institutions, one for government & one for business. -
@anildash Tea Party doesn’t necessarily distrust govt. It distrusts a certain admin. It frequently resorts to fascist rhetoric & imagery. -
@sarahjeong my interactions have indicated slightly different perspectives. They deeply distrust Republican leadership too, for instance.
