@sarahjeong agreed - and I think bitcoin holds a lot more promise as a decentralized contract protocol than as a currency

@sarahjeong OK so at a glance, ethereum looks like bitcoin, but with Script (https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Script ) replaced with a general-purpose VM -- -
@sarahjeong -- which can be used to execute arbitrary operations on the blockchain, and charges tx fees per-instruction -
@sarahjeong so yeah it's basically bitcoin + more logically-complex outputs, which is exactly what you'd want out of a contract protocol -
